Old Craftsman Jointer

I inherited this jointer from my grandfather no idea how old it is but id say at least 20 years.

Old craftsman jointer. Hello i am desperately trying to find part 21422 dovetail spacer for an old craftsman 10320660 6 18 jointer. I bought an old sears craftsman 6 jointer. Get shopping advice from experts friends and the community. Strangely enough other parts do still seem to be available.

Fortunately they were all pretty much the same so a manual for just about any one of them will in most cases be sufficient such as this one for the 11320650 craftsman 6 18 inch jointer over at the vm site you can find others there as well. They made those jointers for years unfortunately trying to nail down a specific model number will be difficult. I have taken it apart and cleaned it up but now that i have it reassembled i cant get it to joint two 90 degree faces. This isnt a new issue but the one that forced me to try and repairfix it.

The grizzlys or jets or others are good jointers for the money and can be found used. I first purchased one at a garage sale for about a hundred bucks back in 1980. Could this be a worlds first for these old jointer. Setting up an old craftsman jointer.
