Dayco vs gates serpentine belts. On the timing belt itself i would take either. One of daycos quietest serpentine belts is the dayco. Toyota otoh uses dayco or goodyear on their us made vehicles but the t belts are still mitsuboshi. I think both are fine but prefer gates for the reason stated pretty sure they make a lot of oem belts.

For accessory drive belts hell ill take generic parts store brands. But i called a mechanic and he said anything less then gates sucks. He was reluctant to do it with the belt i got so i returned it and he said the belt he had was just about equivelent to the gates brand he mention. But whats more important is the other components.
