Are festool drills worth the money. This meant vacuuming everything in the shop between every coat and sanding. Yes festool is worth the money. I got a few of their sanders and a dcnary a speck of dust anywhere. So that means i sand alot of primer.
December 09 2016 0622 am i have most tools you can think of without doubt the ts55 is the best tool ive owned and have ever owned. I get excellent results with bosch and makita tools so ive never made the jump. I build alot of cabinetry that ends up getting shot with oil based enamel. Over the past 4years i have had 2 drills and a router crap out on me.
Ive been woodworking for about a year now and i will likely never be able to afford festool brand tools nor will i probably ever feel worthy of using such an esteemed brand. Is festool tools worth the extra money reply 21 on. Ive never gotten to the point of being able to justify the cost of them since i dont desperately need the features and benefits that they offer. So while the t15 is absolutely worth the money for the average homeowner who only occasionally uses a drill there isnt enough value in a fine tool like this.
Festool is worth every penny. However depending upon your needs the redemption factor with festool drills is the electronic torque function on the ct 1518 and the right angle adapter on the rest of their drills. I find i use the right angle adaptor an awfull lot more than i thought i would i used it 3 times today while gutting a bathroom. While the various makita milwaukee and dewalt drills were fine they in no way approach the sophistication and sheer niceness of the festool t15.
Is festool really worth the money.
