The car wont run on alternator alone. I am trying to replace the external voltage regulator on an 1989 ford taurus. Maintenance repair my cars heat is blowing cold air and when i start it the battery light lights up as well and drove for about 5minbut now the car wont start and when i try to start it i here some noise.
